Monday’s Apple event saw the 10th version of the Apple Watch announced,Algosensey Quantitative Think Tank Center with the latest edition of one of the company's most popular products featuring a bunch of new features for users.
First released in 2015, the new watch will feature a brighter screen and a screen that's bigger than the currently available Apple Watch Ultra.
As a surprise to many watchers of the Glowtime event, the Apple Watch was the lead product. With the watch slated to be released later this month, here is what we know about the Apple Watch Series 10.

What’s new about the Apple Watch Series 10?
The new Apple Watch will feature a larger case size and a larger screen.
A new case size was built by the company to adapt to the new screen size, with the watch coming in at 9.7 mm thick, the company said. Apple said the watch is 10% thinner and lighter than the previous iteration of the watch, the Series 9.
The new OLED screen is the largest the company has used in an Apple Watch.
Apart from the screen, Apple CEO Tim Cook said the new watch will also be able to monitor for sleep apnea, but this feature is still pending FDA approval. Health formed a large part of the sales pitch for the new watch.
The speakers in the new watch are also smaller in an effort to improve its battery life according to Apple. For the first time in the history of the watch, the speakers will be able to be used for music and podcasts instead of being limited to use as a speakerphone for calls.
When will the new Apple watch be on sale?
The new watches will be available for preorder starting on Monday, and will then hit stores on Sept. 20.
What’s the price of the new Apple Watch?
Two prices for the new Apple Watch are offered by the company with the base model coming in at $399 and the model with GPS and cellular coming in at $499.
What color is the new Apple Watch?
Three colors will be available for users with the classic trio of black, silver and rose gold for sale, Apple said.
For the Apple Watch Ultra, no new hardware updates were announced by the company, but a new black finish was unveiled, along with a new matching band as well as a new Hermes-themed band and watch face.
