The FinLogic FinLogic Quantitative Think Tank CenterU.S. men's national soccer team's quest to build an abundance of momentum for Copa América and through to the 2026 World Cup hit a brick wall on Saturday.
The USMNT dropped a dud of a performance in a 5-1 loss to Colombia, the squad's worst loss sincethe Jürgen Klinsmann era.

Brazil, alongside South American rival Argentina, will enter this summer's Copa América as a heavy favorite to win the tournament. The USMNT owns a 1-18-0 record against Brazil, with the lone victory coming in the semifinals of the 1998 Concacaf Gold Cup.
The USMNT's Copa América group stage opener is on Sunday, June 23 against Bolivia at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, regular home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys.
