Getting ready for fatherhood? This looks like a job for Henry Cavill.
The Man of Steel star, who is expecting a baby with girlfriend Natalie Viscuso, celebrated Father's Day by reflecting on how he'll be entering the league of dads soon.
"Oh yeah.....and Happy Father's Day ye dads out there," Henry wrote on Instagram June 16. "Turns out I shall be joining your hallowed ranks soon!"
And while he's yet to find out what exactly parenthood will bring, the Justice League actor isn't going to let this be his kryptonite. In fact, Henry is turning to the citizens of Metropolis—er, rather the parents who follow him on social media—for advice.
"Any tips??" he asked while giving a glimpse at the nursery. "And don't worry, pillows won't be in the crib when the wee one arrives, just glue and scapels so he or she can build Warhammer miniatures. #FathersDay."
The baby news comes three years after Henry and Natalie made their romance Instagram official. And after announcing in April that a baby is on the way, the Argylle alum shared some of his favorite ways to spend a date night with the TV executive.
"We're not shy of a kitchen dance party, I'll tell you that much. A bottle of wine goes down range," he told E! News before clarifying things have changed amid Natalie's pregnancy. "Obviously not now—but previously."
But even before he knew he'd be suiting up to be a dad, Henry had thought about the kind of father he'd like to be.
"If I ever have kids one day, I want to be the dad who's running round after them," he told Men's Health U.K. in 2017. "And if I do have kids, even now, it's starting to get quite late. But I want to be a fit and healthy dad, not hobbling round like, 'OK, I'm just going to catch a breather.'"
