Karen Derrico is staying positive amid her split with Deon Derrico.
Four days after the Doubling Down with the Derricos stars announced they had broken up after 19 years of marriage, the mom of 14 gave insight into her family since the news.
"I am doing as good as can be," Karen explained in a June 20 Instagram video. "The children are doing good. It's summertime, we definitely want to keep them all busy and occupied, and that's the plan right now."
Karen—who shares children Darian, 18, Derrick, 13, twins Dallas and Denver, 12, quintuplets Deniko, Dariz, Deonee, Daiten, and Daician, 10, twins Diez and Dior, 6, and triplets Dawsyn, De'Aren, and Dyver, 4, with Deon—also thanked their fans for sharing their support during this difficult time.
"I feel the love," she emphasized. "I genuinely feel the love. I can almost get emotional. To see the outpour is just amazing. So, I just wanted to tell you all, thank you for the love and support."
The reality star is also finding ways to prioritize self-care and quality time with her kids during their summer vacation. "I'm definitely looking into taking care of Karen for a while," she noted. "We all need to look into that, so that's what I'm focused on."
She also shared a look into what fans can expect from her career moving in the upcoming future. "There's a lot of speaking engagements coming my way that I have to go through and choose where I'm gonna go, but I am thankful and grateful for that," she said, "to tell my story, my journey."
Karen and Deon, who tied the knot in 2005, documented their lives raising their 14 children on the TLC series since 2020. The former couple filed for divorce June 4 and finalized it two days later, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
"Together, we remain unified in the parenting of our 14 beautiful children—their well-being is our priority," the duo said in a statement to E! News June 17. "We thank everyone for their understanding and support as we move forward for the good of our family."
